Actress, America Ferrera might play a wholesomely sweet character in the ABC series, Ugly Betty, but when it comes to her personal life, this chica knows when to fire back con fuerza.
Recent rumors claim that America and long-time boyfriend, Ryan Piers Williams, are engaged to be married. America quickly put an end to that fire by stating to The Daily News,
“I make a point of not talking about my personal life. But Ryan and I are still together. No, we’re not engaged. We’ve never been engaged — though there have been at least 100 reports this past year that I was engaged to Ryan.”
When it comes to bochinche, this actress is willing to protect her private life at all costs. She admits that the rumors and misinformation can be extremely hurtful at times.
She adds,
Some of the things are awful. One magazine, for instance, quoted me as saying that when I was younger, I used to cry at my reflection. I never said such a thing!”
Damn, that kind of rumor is irreversible. I doubt she cried at her reflection, but she definitely found more self love after her extreme weight lose.

Health should be number one
She looks healthy and that’s what matters. But, she went from being comfy in her skin to some glamour puss. Also, it just bugs me that she is representing Latin women and can’t speak spanish!! She went to a top notch University you think she would want to learn the language of the community she is so-called representing? Que no?
America seems to be one of the realest celebrities out there. I agree, she doesn’t need to lose anymore weight.
i think she looks nice this size. but you also have to remember that being that size got her the job. so if she loses weight, does the job go down the drain too? there have been other actresses who have started a show fat and lost weight and ruined an entire show.
