Jaslene And Daddy Go To Harvard
Daddy Yankee and Jaslene Gonzalez hit-up Harvard University on Saturday, and received props for their work in the Latino community. La flaca appeared extra hyped for being awarded the, “Latino Rising Star Award.”
Her gigs are adding diversity to the modeling industry, but the true champion dedicated to social change is Daddy Yankee. He was awarded the, “Latino of the Year Award” for his foundation, Corazón Guerrero, which helps educate former inmates in order for them to succeed in society.
The student organization at Harvard definitely earns props for reppin’ successful Latinos in the entertainment industry, but which two celebs would you have picked to receive these ‘prestigious’ awards?

My best friend is at harvard right now, and he’s a part of the committee that helped choose these two stars and I have to say I don’t see any other better choices.
In our time, there are certain people who although don’t reach the mainstream successes as quickly as we’d like deserve to be recognized for the fusion of their “successes” and their contribution to the staple that the Latino community is becoming both in the entertainment industry and society at large.
Much respect to these two fabulous people!

Harvard honored Paris Hilton,( Ho of the year, pendeja of the year) they will honor any joke…sorry but better choices are out there. Daddy Yankee contributes to Latino Youth by holding baseball camps in Puerto Rico to keep kids outta trouble, but what exactly does Jaslene do?

she is the first Latina to win America’s Next Top Model. ha! i dont know. All i do know is Daddy Yankee has a really nice smile.
WRONG! the first latina (EVEN though some may not consider them latinas for technical reasons) to win AMTM was Yohanna, she’s half Mexican. THEN there was Naima who was part Mexican from her father’s side. Jaslene is the first ‘full blooded’ latina to win.
