Is Dayanara Still Hooked On Marc?
Ex-Miss Universe, Dayanara Torres attended the Ronald McDonald Charity House Mother’s Day Event in Los Angeles on Tuesday. She was spotted spending some quality time with Mickey D and chatting away about surviving her divorce from her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.
She spoke about her divorce and her new self-help book, Married to Me: How Committing to Myself Led to Triumph After Divorce.
“Yo pienso que fue el divorcio que tenía que ser, un divorcio es una cosa dolorosa pero no te puede destruir, especialmente si tienes niños. Gracias a Dios para mí ya pasó y ahora tenemos una buena relación.”
“Es una obra de auto ayuda y me baso en mi divorcio, aunque no doy detalles. Si la gente espera encontrar algo más, que no lo compren. No tiene que ver sino con mi dolor.”
“I think the divorce needed to happen. A divorce is a painful process, but you can not let it destroy you, especially when you have kids. Thank God it happened and it is in the past. We have a good relationship now.”
“The work is a self-help book that is based on my own divorce experience, although I do not give details. If that is what people are looking for, then don’t buy it. It only has to do with my pain.”
For someone who is over the past, Dayanara sure likes to revisit the topic ever chance she gets! Perhaps the divorce was the greatest thing that could of happened to her career or this chica is still hooked on Marc.

I don’t think she is still hooked on Marc. I think she is just a good salesperson who takes any opportunity to endorse her self-help book.
Well I have always thought that she has played the “poor little me card” right from the very beginning and has never stoped. This book just proves it, like the world needed another self help book??
And of cause she is goin to milk the Marc connection…but if its not gonna have juicey details of Marc, lovers, or even a reference to Jlo…then really I dont want to read about her pain….I have got enough of my own.
Seriously Sara. We know about man drama…we don’t need to be reading about hers. I like how she makes it seem like she is not trashy enough to publish details of her issues, as if that makes her better some how. Please!
Everyone is so hard on her. I mean what she went through wasn’t easy. Marc was probably playing her with J.LO and they were married twice! She probably still loves him, but not like before.
I think she should stop dwelling on this man who made a fool outta of her all those years by cheating on her with JLO. She should let it go and move on with some PRIDE. She is a gorgeous woman, but she is going to keep coming off as needy and weak with all this. The next man wont want to deal with that.
She is low! I just think she does it all for the attention.

PAGI - All latin gossip knows that Marc cheated on her from day one..and not with Jlo…what was the name of that little waitress who draged Marc to court not once but twice for DNA??? But of cuase if Marc was gonna leave her Iim sure she would rather the world thought that he left her for JLO and not some POOR WAITRESS SKANK?? I’m sure it makes her feel a whole lot better.
I don’t think this book demonstrates that she is hooked on Marc. She is just a businessperson, and thought that this might be lucrative. Plus, she’s been very careful to say that there will be no mention of other things, that people might be hoping for…
She is entitled to write a book about whatever she wants! Plus, her sister is a psychologist and collaborated on this book, so it’s not like she’s pulling it out of her rear-end.

I kinda like Dayanara, but since when did celebs become expert authors and writers.- it’s been done before and doesnt need to be done again.

i think the divorce will always stay with her because its all she is asked in interviews. It was the same when jlo and ben broke up, for a long time people kept asking ben about their breakup. Dayarnara just needs a good movie or something to bring her out of that shadow.
