“In the Heights” Makes History

Washington Heights’ bodega dreams and vibrant energy has served as a muse for Broadway’s latest gem, “In the Heights.” The first Latino production on Broadway towered over the competition and just received 13 Tony Award nominations!

The play created by Lin-Manuel Miranda snagged nominations for best musical, best script, scenic design, costume design, lighting and direction.

Props to ‘The Heights’ for adding extra sabor to the streets of Broadway!
