La Loca Adopts

Tired of living la vida loca, Ricky Martin has found himself a cause he can be proud of. The bon-bon shaker has sponsored four girls in India as part of his fight against the trafficking of children into slavery and prostitution.

“Because of trafficking, the adoption of children to foreigners is not legal in India,” he explained. “They control adoption because of the fear of child trafficking, which I think is brilliant of the Indian government. But why not? Maybe some day I will adopt a child.”

Is this a sign of Ricky Martin’s growing heart or are his maternal instincts just starting to kick in? Luckily for him he doesn’t have to worry about the ticking of his biological clock. But then again, neither will his partner.
