If At First You Don’t Succeed…
Kat Deluna has been back in the studio with singer/producer Akon for a makeover of her album “9 Lives.” The initial release of the album achieved less than expected sales, so Epic has recruited Akon to spice up the album for a late-summer re-release. The revamped album will include brand new Kat songs produced by Akon along with the new versions of the original track roster also featuring Akon on production and supporting vocals.
Check out the Konvict remix of “Am I Dreaming,” which will be featured on the album. What do y’all think? Will Kat be needing her eight other lives or has she hit it with this one?

i don’t understand why she doesn’t just come out with a new album. seems like a waste of time to remix songs that didn’t do so well in the first place. I guess she doesn’t have enough talent or creativity to make totally new tracks.
on spec i hate re-releases, but a re-release that sold less than a hundred thousand copies is a waste of money and her time to release.
She needs to hook up with Timbaland not Akon, everything Timbaland touches turns to gold I tell you! Or Polow, the king of the white girls! LOL! Akon is a talentless dork that sounds like one of the Alvin and the chipmunks.
Revamp will probably still suck.
I agree reales a new album
Revamps are pretty stupid, though I do like Akon’s style and I feel like Kat’s voice would really work well with it. I feel like Timbaland’s beats would drown out Kat’s vocals, even though Timb does make fire.
I have been over seas(Paris and Bangkok)and they are totally feeling Kat Deluna everywhere!!! That is how I started to like her cuz here stateside I really never heard her songs! Her impact should have been the same here! So a re-release she deserves so we can all get into it like we should have the first time around!!
