Has Irv Gotti’s Ship Sailed?

Hip-Hop mogul, Irv Gotti was seen hitting up Eugene Remm and Mark Birnbaum’s Birthday Party last night. It is obvious that after allegedly being linked to convicted drug lord, Kenneth ”Supreme” McGriff and dodging a 20 year prison sentence, Irv has been trying to hustle his way back into the limelight.

His VH1 reality television series, Gotti’s Way might have been signed on for season two, but the NYC native still has a lot to prove in the music industry.

He stated on an interview with EW,

“‘The [music] industry ain’t what it used to be. ‘But you still have to work and you still have to go for it…. The [industry] ship may be sinking, but I’ma be the last one to hit the water, like Leonardo DiCaprio [in Titanic]. I’m Leo, yo!”

I admire his confidence, but something tells me he doesn’t have Leo’s stamina.
