Will You Cop Thalia’s New Album?
Thalia hosted her exclusive album release party at the New York City nightclub Nikki Midtown for her latest over-rated highly-anticipated album, “Lunada.”
The compilation features 11 tracks produced by musical mastermind, Emilio Estefan, and offers a rhythmic infusion of pop, rumba, and cumbia sounds.
The Mexican pop star reveals to The Associated Press,
“This disc came along when I was very pregnant with my daughter. I was almost eight months along. I had had it, and the only thing I could think about were bikinis, suntan lotion, beer and the beach. So I began to think to myself, ‘Hey! What was that song I liked last summer in Argentina? ‘Sangre Caliente’ (”Hot blood”)! And when I went with my friends to (the Mexican beach resort of) Ixtapa, which one was it? That’s right! The one by Juan Gabriel!’ … That’s how ‘Lunada’ was born.”
I guess bikinis, suntan, lotion, and beer are the perfect inspirational elements for a number 1 album!

Oh Honey, I know she can’t sing, I just meant it overall, anyone nowadays can drop album. People who can sing dont get recognition cause they dont get butt naked or act like total bimbos.

Este CD no es nada original. No tuvo mas canciones que grabar y metio tres canciones ya populares por otros artistas como Juan Gabriel. Dos años para meter canciones ya famosas. A la mejor quire sacarse otro ticket como lo hizo con A quien le Imparta de Alaska. Pero esta vez no va a funcionar.
