Everytime I come on here to read the comments and see Cutie Pie’s name I cringe. I am embarassed. Who made the comment “READ A BOOK”, OMG I couldn’t agree with you more. Most IF NOT ALL Latino/Latina people come from African descent somewhere down the line. There are Latinas who are darker than me, their hair is nappier than mine…and they are still beautiful. We have to stop judging our beauty by somebody elses standards. You don’t have to have European features to be considered beautiful. I understand, this is Lossip. As much as I believe the contest should be open to everyone I can see why it isn’t. But can I ask one question…

There are ways of making a point, but it’s hard for her to write anything without shaking your head at her comments. She was actually well behaved in this post. lol. I guess these comments are really “Your own interpretation”. We all know that there are Latina Video Ho’s but never do I mention that they are the representation of Latin Women and our “assets” (I am referring to the true definition of this word). People have made references to color and race, how is that not being racist. Yes, people have a right to their opinion, but I think that people would get offended if they started insulting their whole race, not just one individual.

Is maritza racist? According to the general census, yes, but I believe it’s more in how you interpret it. If you associate “porch monkey” and references to certain traits, such as ones lips, as racial slurs directed at a certain group instead of just mocking one individual then… I guess you have a point. Either that or someone, other than maritza, has a guilty conscience. However, I didn’t view maritza comments that way.
