On the Silver Screen

J. Lo’s “El Cantante” may have turned out a bust, but Zoë Saldaña radiated class and poise in a simple pair of black pants and khaki-colored top at the film’s Los Angeles premiere. The Dominican actress known for role in films such as “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” and “Guess Who” have made her one of Hollywood’s finest up-and-comers.

You can catch Zoë in her next flick, titled “Vantage Point”, alongside Dennis Quaid, Eduardo Noriega (“The Devil’s Backbone”), Forest Whitaker, Sigourney Weaver, and ‘Lost’ hunk Matthew Fox. “Vantage Point”, which tells the story of an attempted assassination of the president, is told from five different perspectives. The film is scheduled to be released on February 15, 2008.

Let’s just hope it’s not another “Crossroads”!
