Bibi Gaytán Is A Family Woman
We hate to disappoint Bibi Gaytán fans, pero the 36-year-old beauty does not plan on getting back to work. You may remember her from the old-school pop sensation, Timbiriche, or a long list of successful telenovelas, but this chica’s ultimate glory has been raising a family of four with actor, Eduardo Capetillo.
According to People en espanol, Bibi recently turned-down a leading role in the production, “Aventurera” because she rather dedicate her time and energy to her family.
She states,
“No, I don’t know, I’m a bit pressed for time, and my number one priority is my family, and when somebody agrees to do a job, they should be able to do it one-hundred percent.”
Many believe that Eduardo’s machista ways are the real reason behind her anti-work attitude. Dedicating time to a healthy family dynamic is just fine, but feeding into a jealous husband’s demanding character is just un gran mistake.
Should she be given props for her traditional ways?

Yeah now that I remember she wasn’t that good, but she has always been sweet and very beautiful and such a classy lady she’s turned into.
If she is giving priority to her kids and husband, it’s her business! She will have the love and respect of her family when she needs it. Actresses who live for their “careers” find out too late that after a certain age they no longer have one, whether they like it or not.
I don’t like the title “Bibi Gaytan is a family woman”. It sounds so sarcastic and cynical. It implies that Bibi is dumb for giving priority to her family and marriage. Would she be considered “smarter” if she gave her family second place and ran off to work on “Aventurera”? She would no doubt be famous and make money but would she be “smarter” by giving her family and husband second and third place after her “career”? If she did the gossip reporters would then criticize her for being “selfish” and “self-absorved”. Whatever she does, she will be criticized anyways.
