“La Misma Luna” Takes the Imagen Awards By Storm

The emotional film about a boy seeking to be reunited with his mother across the U.S.-Mexico border swept the 23rd Annual Imagen Awards yesterday in Beverly Hills, snagging Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Film.
T.V. awards went to America Ferrera, Cesar Millan, Carlos Mencia, and Dania Ramirez, to name a few. This year’s Lifetime Achievement Award went to cubano Tony Plana.
