Penelope Cruz on September cover of “Glamour”

I don’t know how many of you have seen Woody Allen’s latest flick, “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” but Penelope Cruz - and her devastatingly sexy novio Javier Bardem - were definitely the best things that could have happened to that movie. (A word of caution for those of you have not: Be prepared to be bored to tears by Scarlett Johansson’s bland acting!)

The talented madrileña will be featured in the September issue of “Glamour” magazine, where she talks about her latest movies, her addiction to her Blackberry, her love of stray animals, and her look-a-like sister Monica.

“Growing up, she was the peaceful one and I was the impossible one. I was very rebellious about everything. I also had a lot of energy. Thank God [my parents] took me to a ballet school every day, because there was no way I could sit in my house.”

Penelope is also appearing in the recently released film “Elegy” opposite Ben Kingsley, and is beginning work on what will likely be yet another whimsically dark Almodovar movie set to be released in 2009.

I saw the movie. Not very pleased. Yes, Scarlet’s acting made Penelope’s crazy ass character worthy of a Oscar nom! Javier was brilliant.
