Drake Bell to Perform in Mexico City?!
What the hell?! I know Drake Bell isn’t a Latino, but I felt compelled to write about this curious cultural mishmash anyway.
The guitarist and Nickelodeon child star, most recently turned film actor in flicks like “College” and “Superhero Movie,” is due to perform in D.F. in mid-October, and already has his show teetering on being sold out! Execs had to add on an additional appearances in Puebla and Jalisco to deal with the overwhelming demand for tickets.
As far as I know, Drake Bell has no particular Latin link to anything, except that according to IMDb.com, his favorite subject in school was Spanish.
I’m so confused. Where have I been? Since when has Drake Bell been a musical sensation in Mexico? Did I miss something?
