Eva Mendes Stays Classy

Globe trotter Eva Mendes was recently spotted in Madrid promoting her line of undies, ‘Seductive Comfort,’ for Calvin Klein at the oh-so classy and ultra chic…Corte Inglés?

I don’t know how many of your have had the great luxury of running out of toothpaste and tampons while traveling through Spain, but having recently been in that situation, let me just tell you, El Corte Inglés really saved my ass on that one.

Spain’s largest department store -and site of Eva Mendes’ recent product plug- can essentially be described as one giant Target. They have everything from groceries and toiletries to clothes, electronics, and even furniture.

But a hub of high class fashion? I don’t know if I’d go that far. Sure, a few little puestos here and there do sell Gucci and Armani and the like, but its kind of hard to take a place seriously when it’s also your one stop shop for batteries and bottles of water.

Nevertheless, that didn’t stop Eva from trying to step up the fashion yesterday in Madrid, where she not only smiled and waved for cameras while promoting her chones, but she also revived her tried and true patent leather camel pumps.
