Show of Hands, Please
So it seems that veteran actress Veronica Castro has decided to launch her very own line of cosmetics. La mexicana launched her new line yesterday in Mexico City with some faux smiles and the impromptu application of her “fabulous” products.
I won’t take too much time with this because, (1) the polls are calling and I’m off to vote and, (2) anyone wanting to buy make-up created by Veronica Castro seems as probable as people buying condoms endorsed by Jamie-Lynn Spears.
But please, if there is anyone out there who thinks otherwise, let me know. Until then, I’m just going to go out on a limb here and say that very few people seem likely to want to look like as if they’re trapped in a soap opera in the 1970s. Thanks, but no thanks.
