Making Kat Von D an Honest Woman

According to artists Kat Von D, her scuzzy novio Nikki Sixx is responsible for helping her take control of her life, including helping her kick her alcoholism.

The painted lady said of her rocker boyfriend:

I found myself drinking in the daytime, and that’s when I realised that it was for function versus fun. I was gaining weight. I was hung over all the time. I couldn’t remember anything… One day I woke up and said, ‘I don’t wanna drink anymore.’ Meeting Nikki was an eye-opener. He helped restore my faith in general. I’ve taken an oath to be honest and open with my life.

Well, I guess appearances don’t really count for all that much. By the looks of it, I’d think Nikki Sixx would be one of those guys who is not only drunk all day, but probably smells like a combination of beer, B.O. and old peanuts. Who knew he’d be the guy to sober up Kat with his emotional support? I guess anything is possible!
