Hugo Chavez Is a Popular Man
It seems American actors can’t get enough of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. First, Sean Penn met with the president back in August, and now it seems Kevin Spacey is jumping on the bandwagon as well.
While in Venezuela, Spacey was said to have visited a $13 million film studio founded by the government to support Venezuelan filmmaking as an alternative to the “cultural imperialism” of Hollywood.
Of all the people I would care to meet, one can rest assure that Chavez would not be on my list. Unless it were to spit on his face.

I guess getting democratically elected several times by poor (black and brown) people who are tired of a rich white elite robbing the county is a bad thing? Also saying that the Bush administration is imperialist (invading other countries) and killing thousands of innocent people around the world is also bad? I guess helping the poor is a bad thing?
