Wah Wah
Looks as though Eva Mendes and Joaquin Phoenix won’t be working on any film projects together anytime soon.
After she remarked that working with him on “We Own the Night” was “kind of like working with a puppy dog or a 2-year-old” Phoenix bit back in the December issue of Playboy Magazine, saying:
“Had I known I was supposed to be a puppy dog, I would have been much more cute and more consistently attentive. My apologies, Eva, but I had a few other scenes that you weren’t in. This puppy dog had a lot of work to do.”
Oh, suck it up, Joaquin. Why not just go cry to mommy and have yourself a pity party, while you’re at it. Do you hear that? It’s the world’s smallest violin, and it’s playing just for you.

Eva has had problems with almost all of her costars in her flicks. Joaquin is a drunk though so he is probably acting very childish at the studio. But Eva is not helping her Hollywood rep by blasting him publicly like this. He’s holding the cards in terms of popularity at this point in her career.
