Another Presidential Meeting

Benicio Del Toro at the “Things We Lost In The Fire” press conference at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York on October 7, 2007.

Benicio del Toro met with Bolivan president Evo Morales for a 15-20 minute discussion centering around del Toro’s latest films, “Guerilla” and “The Argentine”.

The president then gifted him with an instrument and some books.

So long as it’s not Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, then I guess I’m cool. If he meets Hugo though, I think I’ll be singing a very different– very angry– tune.
