George Lopez’s Bright Path
Although The George Lopez Show was canceled after five years on-air, George Lopez still has a string of projects to tackle. He recently expressed to the L.A. Times,
“People think when your show is over, your career is over, but I’ve just been making a transition.”
Transition indeed! From December 26th to the 31st, Lopez will be performing at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Tickets are selling fast, and fans are sure to fill the 7,100-set theatre. No wonder he won a Best Comedy Grammy nomination for his album “America’s Mexican.”
He is also making moves in the film industry. His indie feature, “Henry Poole Is Here,” was recently accepted into the Sundance Film Festival. Pa’lante Lopez! We are cheering for you.
