Now That Is My Daddy

Daddy Yankee Concert

Daddy Yankee recently launched a scholarship program, Edúcate con impacto, for young students in Puerto Rico. The singer has allocated $100,000 for the project, which will offer free education for six lucky students.

In regards to his latest charity initiative Daddy Yankee states,

“Cuando uno se educa, uno se libera. Y estas becas son para que echen para delante, no se detengan, siempre hay oportunidad de retomar el camino.”

“When you educate yourself, you are free. And these scholarships are meant for [these kids] to succeed, and not give up. There is always opportunity to change your path.”

Now that is a true passion for kids. I will pop out a few babies for Daddy Yankee. Just say the word Daddy…just say the word!

Check out the premiere of his latest music video for Somos de Calle on Pepsi Musica airing at 5PM tomorrow.

Wow, I am impressed. You rarely hear of spanish rappers spending money on anything but themselves. His appeal factor has definitely gone up a few points.

  2. Nice to see Daddy Yankee giving back. Let him be an example of what other celebrities need to be doing.
