Beef Between Shakira And Juanes?

Despite recent rumors claiming an intense rivalry between Colombian stars, Juanes and Shakira we are glad to report that the chismes are false.

Juanes released a statement to the media denying any beef with the sexy singer.

He stated,

“Valoro mucho el camino de los artistas colombianos y el camino de nuestra música. En eso, ella [Shakira] y yo venimos del mismo lugar. Aunque tengamos una concepción diferente de la música. Ambas son válidas. Enfrentamiento [con Shakira] no hay ninguno y nunca lo habrá.”

“I value the artistic path of Colombian artists and the path of our music. Saying that, [Shakira] and I come from the same place. Although we have different concepts of music, they are both valid expressions. A confrontation with [Shakira] does not exist and it never will.”

These stars may have different musical styles, but they have a lot in common. They are both very politically and socially active in their native country and in Latin America.

Forget the rivalry, these two should secretly hook up! I promote unity.
