The 2008 Latin Billboard Winners!

Last night’s 2008 Latin Billboard awards celebrated our passion and love for la musica! The event was held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and honored performers based on the best sales and airplay received in the past year.

Dominican industry veteran, Juan Luis Guerra continued on his winning streak and dominated the night by snagging three awards including, artist of the year and producer of the year.

Daddy Yankee and Aventura conquered double trophy wins, while reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel won the award for their hit single, “Pegao.”

Other memorable winners include, Juanes who took home the award for male pop album of the year, and Jennifer Lopez who won for pop album of the year for “Como Ama Una Mujer.”
