I know what some of you are thinking; “But Britney is not Latina so why is she on Lossip?”
And my answer is: Although Princess Brit of America is not in any way Latinoamericana (not counting the Latinos she has slept with or her “love” for our culture), we can’t deny the obsession the pop world (including Latin audiences) has with his girl. So we do feature her and some other overwhelmingly “famous” or “infamous” icons like her from time to time, because as Latinos we do like to read about them…Don’t we?
And as much as I personally like to say that it’s all the same to me, I can’t help but feel alarmed because these people go from human beings to objects of ridiculous worship and we are to blame.
Singer/Actress phenomenon Britney Spears cannot even walk on NYC! She barely got through the crowd, the muscly guards, the cops and the herd of fanatics while trying to attend the “In The Heights”musical at the Richard Rodgers Theater. It looked like the return of the Beatles for heaven’s sake! It was just Britney Spears…walking!
All I can say is she takes a lot of crap from everyone, but living that life must not be easy. The constant attention at some point must get darn annoying! She is just a woman, people, not an alien. You’re embarrassing yourselves.
