Catalina Sandino Moreno was rockin’ an urban chic look at the The Cinema Society and Calvin Klein Jeans event in New York City yesterday.
The combination of a sexy black top and casual tight jeans never fail.
Is this grounds for a estilo hit or miss?

Our favorite Colombian actress, Catalina Sandino Moreno usually keeps it low key, but the actress recently resurfaced for the Cinema Society screening of “Stop- Loss” at the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City.
We fell in love with the talented star after her stellar performance as a drug mule in Maria Full of Grace, and she continued the trend with her work in Love in the Time of Cholera.
Unlike other stars, Hollywood keeps Catalina humble and tied to her roots,
“I’m very proud to be Latin, I’m very proud to be Colombian and, to me, it’s very important to keep with that.”
2008 is going to be her year to shine as she is set to star in two highly anticipated films, The Argentine and Guerrilla. Viva Catalina!

Catalina Sandino Moreno may have had a taste of Hollywood fame with the release and success of “Maria Full of Grace”, but something tells me once “Love in the Time of Cholera” is released her face is going to take over as the media’s latest Latina “It” girl.
It’ll be interesting to see how they market her, since she doesn’t have the traditional voluptuous Latina “look” to her. She may be 26-years-old, but she could easily pass as a high Schooler!
The movie, based on the Gabriel García Márquez novel, co-starring Benjamin Bratt, John Leguizamo, and Hector Elizondo, is scheduled to be released on November 16, 2007.
