Single Baby Mamás Talk to Cristina

It used to be that the women were scared of getting used by “players” (pronounced playas), but now things are changing.  Women are taking charge and having their babies without giving a crap about the “sperm donors.”  And Latinas are no exception.

Give a warm welcome to three single celeb Baby Mamás (and certified LMILF’s) who showed face at the Cristina Show on Monday night to present their cute offsprings and their heated feminist arguments!

Gaby Spanic, Erika Buenfil, and Laura Flores sat on the Cristina couches, each with their new sons, Gabriel, Ernesto and Alejandro and shared their trials and tribulations with the Cuban TV host.

“…My son is not a bastard! If he doesn’t want to accept that he’s the father, then I’ll work hard at being both mom and dad at the same time. My son won’t miss out on a thing. I’ve already been humiliated enough, but for Gabriel I will fight like a lion…”

Said Gabby about the DNA test requested from her baby’s father.

There was also talk about Ernesto Zedillo Jr., son of the former President of Mexico, Ernesto Zedillo, who allegedly fled the relationship, once he learned she was pregnant.

“…I don’t know why he now admits that he is the father of my child after he abandoned me when he found out I was pregnant. He didn’t want to face fatherhood and told me not to count on him. Nicolas is mine, and mine only…”

Actress Laura Flores also shared about adopting his son:

“I always knew that adopting was something that I wanted to do in life and that I had to do it. At this moment, I am not looking to reinvent myself as a woman. I am a divorced mother with three kids and I can take care of them alone.”

Props to these Madres Solteras for airing their dirty diapers on International Television and taking on the challenges of Motherhood sans the Babby Daddys…

“Mejor estar solas que mal acompañadas…”

Cristina Saralegui Turned into Chocolate Treat

¿Que que? You heard right. Cristina Saralegui, the talkshow queen of Latin America, has been turned into an M&M!

The Cuban journalist will have her candy cartoon appear in a series of television commercials and print ads for the tiny candies as of the beginning of October.

The release of “Candy Cristina” marks the first time a Latin celebrity gets the chocolate warp. So far, other celebs that have been M&M-ed are Joey Fatone, and plastic surgery postergirls, Lisa Rinna, Joan Rivers and daughter Melissa Rivers.

The Cristina M&M comes complete with her trademark blonde bob and signiture “thumbs-up.” In response to her candy conversion, the wildly popular talkshow host said:

“Es increíble ser un M&M. [Estos chocolates] son una parte tan integral de la cultura estadounidense y creo que realmente capturaron mi personalidad”

And, with regard to her grandson:

“¡Estoy ansiosa de que el pequeño Domenic pueda entender que su abuela es un dulce!”

My only question is, if this will be the first Latino to be featured in an M&M promotion, why did they have to make it yellow?
