Ex-Miss Universe, Dayanara Torres attended the Ronald McDonald Charity House Mother’s Day Event in Los Angeles on Tuesday. She was spotted spending some quality time with Mickey D and chatting away about surviving her divorce from her ex-husband, Marc Anthony.
She spoke about her divorce and her new self-help book, Married to Me: How Committing to Myself Led to Triumph After Divorce.
“Yo pienso que fue el divorcio que tenía que ser, un divorcio es una cosa dolorosa pero no te puede destruir, especialmente si tienes niños. Gracias a Dios para mí ya pasó y ahora tenemos una buena relación.”
“Es una obra de auto ayuda y me baso en mi divorcio, aunque no doy detalles. Si la gente espera encontrar algo más, que no lo compren. No tiene que ver sino con mi dolor.”
“I think the divorce needed to happen. A divorce is a painful process, but you can not let it destroy you, especially when you have kids. Thank God it happened and it is in the past. We have a good relationship now.”
“The work is a self-help book that is based on my own divorce experience, although I do not give details. If that is what people are looking for, then don’t buy it. It only has to do with my pain.”
For someone who is over the past, Dayanara sure likes to revisit the topic ever chance she gets! Perhaps the divorce was the greatest thing that could of happened to her career or this chica is still hooked on Marc.

A beautiful woman like Dayanara Torres does not stay single for long. The ex-Miss Universe was recently spotted with a handsome mystery man at the Villa Lounge in West Hollywood.
After announcing her break-up from Amaury Nolasco last week, she stated the following about dating and relationships,
“Tengo que ser muy cuidadosa. No les puedo presentar a cualquiera sin conocerlo. Sólo cuando considero que la relación se está poniendo seria y va bien encaminada es cuando se los presento, y eso ha ocurrido sólo una vez.”
“I have to be very careful. I can’t just introduce [my kids] to someone I barely know. I only introduce a man to my children once I feel like the relationship is getting serious, and that has only happened once.”
Despite her respectful comments, this mamacita ain’t no prude. She has been spotted with several men over the years including, Mario Lopez and Frankie J.
It is all good…as long as she knows that these men are just rebound lovers.

Ex-Miss Universe, Dayanara Torres speaks up after her public break-up with actor Amaury Nolasco. She confesses to Peopleenespanol.com,
“Él siempre será mi amigo, lo quiero muchísimo. Yo lo apoyo, él siempre me ha apoyado. El hecho de que hayamos roto no significa que uno le haya hecho algo malo al otro. Simplemente decidimos que las cosas no estaban funcionado, pero seguimos siendo amigos, siempre lo seremos.”
“He will always be a friend, I love him a lot. I support him, and he has always supported me. Just because we broke-up doesn’t mean that we did anything bad to each other. We simply decided that things weren’t working out, but we are still friends. We always will be.”
Sounds like Dayanara is still trying to ride the break-up for some publicity.
With her talent and beauty, she should work at being known for something other than la sufrida.

Beautiful ex-Miss Universe, Dayanara Torres doesn’t seem to have much luck when it comes to men. The Puerto Rican star has split from her one year relationship with Prison Break star, Amaury Nolasco.
The couple announced their break-up to the media yesterday and released the following statement to People en Español,
“Después de un año juntos, hemos decidido terminar nuestra relación. Siempre compartiremos una hermosa amistad, un gran amor y respeto mutuo.”
“After being together for one year, we have decided to terminate our relationship. We will always share a great friendship, a great love, and mutual respect for one another.”
Pobre Dayanara! First Marc Anthony leaves her for J.LO and now this?!
She is probably going to need therapy after this one.

Dayanara Torres is still trying to cash-in on her divorce with singer Marc Anthony. The ex-Miss Universe is coming out with her own book about how to cope with the hardships of divorce.
The book title is as whack as the concept. It is titled, Married to Me: How committing to Myself Led To Triumph After Divorce.
Come on lady! This story is so old. She should try making profit from her beauty and talent…not being a desperate divorced single mother.
I see it hitting the discount section of my local book store the day it drops.

Poor Dayanara. It seems Jennifer Lopez’s recent career choices, although ridiculed by fans and critics alike, is still way more interesting than whatever the hell Dayanara Torres has been up to.
During a press conference at this years Latin Grammy’s there existed a moment of tension after the model turned actress was asked how her kids felt about them soon having a half brother.
“Pido con mucho respeto que ojalá ya no me hagan ese tipo de preguntas. Yo me separé hace ya 4 años y pido respeto. Si algo quieren saber de mí y mi carrera, con mucho gusto”, dijo la ex Miss Universo de 32 años.
“With much respect I ask that none of you will ever ask me that type of questions again. I separated myself four years ago already, and I ask for respect. If any of you want to know of my career, with much pleasure,” said the 32-year-old former Miss Universe.
Oh, snap! You’ve been denied! Good thing Dayanara has the balls to control her environment. Who wants to talk, essentially, about their ex-husband’s new life without you? Torres doesn’t need the cheap publicity.
Although, in all fairness to the journalist, Dayanara’s career isn’t exactly anything mind blowing. A red carpet staple for Latin events, yes. But a Golden Globe nod is not something I see in her future.

It appears Marc Anthony’s ex-wife Dayanara Torres has revealed J. Lo is in fact pregnant, beating her to the punch. In response to how her and Marc’s children felt about the coming of their new siblings Dayanara replied:
“They don’t know yet because I found out a day ago. But I imagine they will be happy, because when my sister had her kids they were.”
That explains Jennifer’s cop uniform. No doubt she showed up at Dayanara’s pad with rubber gloves on. Dayanara has to pay somehow.

Dayanara Torres and Amaury Nolasco are on of Hollywood’s hottest new couples and they show no signs of slowing down. Dayanara recently said of Amaury:
“Es un muchacho bien dulce, estoy feliz… Nos llevamos súper, súper bien. Él es puertorriqueño, hablamos el mismo idioma, es una cosa diferente.”
“He’s a very sweet boy, I’m happy… we get along really, really well. He’s Puerto Rican, we speak the same language, it’s something different.”
Do you understand and/or agree what she means when she says they speak the same language because they’re both Puerto Rican?
