Despite recently announcing his withdrawal from the musical, “Nine” due to exhaustion, actor Javier Bardem continues to work hard at his charity initiatives. He attended a press conference earlier today to support a campaign dedicated to bringing peace and freedom to the Saharawi people.
The campaign includes an online documentary, which urges people to unite and make a difference for more than 200,000 people abandoned in the Sáhara desert in the last 33 years.
The film emphasizes,
“La situación empeora año tras año. El proceso de paz está bloqueado y eso afecta especialmente a los más débiles. Mujeres, niños y ancianos.”
“The situation gets worse year after year. The process for peace is being blocked and this especially effects the weak. Women, children, and the elderly.”
Javier is strongly dedicated to raising awareness and helping thousands of victims trapped in refugee camps.
This hottie just earned major points for his humanitarian spirit. We support la lucha Javier!

According to the publication Variety, Javier Bardem has decided to retire his participation in the musical, Nine. The Oscar winner was set to play the protagonist in the musical opposite his novia Penelope Cruz.
The report claims that Javier was looking forward to working with director Rob Marshall, but ended up quitting because he is extremely exhausted and over-worked. Instead, Javier plans on taking a year off to chill out and recharge.
If he kept it real, he would probably admit that starring in a musical with his novia was probably not the greatest idea. Javier knows crapping where you eat is bad for indigestion!

According to the National Enquirer, hottie couple Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are getting married later on this year. They report that Javier proposed during their recent trip to France.
A source reveals that Javier’s mama encouraged him to pop the question,
“Pilar took her son aside and told him, ‘What’s the matter with you? She’s perfect! You love her, she loves you. Get married.’”
The publication might lack in credibility, but this story doesn’t seem too far fetched.
¿Que tu crees?

Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz were caught sharing mad love while recently vacationing in Nice, Paris. This couple was definitely showing some baby makin’ affection!
Their passion is undeniable. Whether these two get married, knocked-up or break-up, I hope at least a sex tape comes out of it all.
Do you think wedding bells will ring for la pareja?

We have witnessed them on romantic getaways and walking the red carpet together, but here is a snapshot of when it all started. It is obvious that Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have had good chemistry from the start, which explains why their expiration date has yet to arrive.
Keeping the relationship low key has definitely helped their longevity. The couple is currently sharing Cruz’s living quarters in West Hollywood, but the big move was kept under wraps for a while.
Hopefully Penelope is a smart girl and doesn’t let this fine piece of ass go. I know plenty of women that would not hesitate to crawl right into her place.
Yes, that includes me.

As expected, Javier Bardem walked out a big winner for his unforgettable performance in the film No Country For Old Men. The actor snagged the 80th Annual Academy Award for “Best Supporting Actor” at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood last night.
Props to Javier for having such a successful year and for sharing the glory with his lovely mother Pilar Bardem.
Wondering how Javier celebrated his win? Find out right after the jump!

Javier Bardem keeps racking up awards! The Spanish actor won The Orange British Academy Film Award for “Best Supporting Actor” in No Country For Old Men. The event took place at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London, England on Sunday.
With all his earned cinematic attention, Bardem has proven to own undeniable acting skills. He has previously expressed that the center of his craft is paying attention to body language,
“We all speak by our body language, probably more than we’d like to. One guy comes into a room and you know where’s he’s coming from and his background by the way he talks, sits and moves his hands. One of the funniest and most enjoyable things for me to perform is that: to bring behaviors. That’s what I always pay attention to.”
You mastered it quite well Javier!

Penelope Cruz is ready to shock us with more girl-on-girl action, but this time she won’t be making out with hermana Monica Cruz. The Spanish actress is starring in Woody Allen’s upcoming movie, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, and is set to perform a very freaky sex scene with Scarlett Johansson.
A source states to PageSix.com,
“It is also extremely erotic. People will be blown away and even shocked. Penelope and Scarlett go at it in a red-tinted photography dark room, and it will leave the audience gasping.”
The movie will also feature a caliente threesome with, Javier Bardem, who plays Penelope’s husband in the film. This explains why the real life couple can’t get their hands off each other!
Bring on the naked scenes! I don’t know what the hell this movie is about, but the heavy porn content sold me.

And the Actor goes to…
Javier Bardem dominated the 2008 SAG Awards last night. The critically acclaimed film, No Country For Old Men, won for “Outstanding Performance By A Cast In A Motion Picture” and “Outstanding Performance By A Male Actor In A Supporting Role.”
Javier Bardem managed to look good enough to eat! He played the role of a true don in a classic Prada suit and open-collar white shirt. Too bad he appeared at the red carpet solo!
His relationship with Penelope Cruz has officially reached a shady status in my book, but I think the bachelor look fits Javier just fine.

Javier Bardem ’s stellar performance in the critically acclaimed film, No Country for Old Men, will go down in cinematic history. The Spanish actor snagged the Oscar nomination for “Best Supporting Actor.” The film was also nominated for “Best Picture.”
The movie goes up against the historic epic, “There Will Be Blood,” the romanic flick “Atonement,” the knock-up comedy “Juno,” and “Michael Clayton.” I don’t think any of these films stand a chance against the serial killing madness!
