Maybe its because I’m not a Spaniard, or maybe its because I don’t find tennis to be particularly interesting, but one way or another, there’s a few things I just don’t get about this story.

Nevertheless, it seems that the stands at the ATP Masters Series in Madrid yesterday were nice and full of superestrellas. Everyone from model Mar Saura, to Real Madrid futbolista Raul Gonzalez, to actress Paula Echevarria, and even legendary director Pedro Almodóvar were watching the day’s match between home town favorite Rafa Nadal and Ernest Gulbis.

Hell, even ex-Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar was there. (Let it be noted that, yes, Spain has a prime minister; no, they’re not enemies of the United States; and no, Spain is not in Latin America).

I don’t get the appeal, but in case some of you out there are rabid about Spaniards and tennis, these pics are for you!

Ta-DOW! Spain’s popular tennis champ Rafael Nadal has recently been vacationing in Mallorca, where he has been enjoying some down time on his boat, fishing, swimming, stripping…you know, the usual.

The sculpted Spaniard was recently photographed culo al aire changing into his swim trunks on the deck of his boat. Finally, I’m able to understand why there aren’t dressing rooms on a boat. Thank you, Spanish paparazzi.

Looks like Rafita is enjoying his time away from the courts. His girlfriend, Maria Francisca Perello, is now less camara shy as they frolic in the beach. Damn Rafita, you should just walk around like that all day…hiding all that fine brawny body under those bulky shirts!

It Looks like Spain is on a roll, first the Eurocopa win and now Rafael Nadal won Wimbledon! I guess when it rains it pours, literally. After a grueling two days Rafael won over the seemingly unstoppable Roger Federer. Go Rafita! ( Doesn’t he clean up nice at the Wimbledon Champion’s Dinner?!)
