You may have thought that teen pop nightmare RBD was gone for good, after the group formally announced their split via website this summer. Well, while the group itself has not even hinted at staying together (though they are embarking on one final good-bye tour later this year), that hasn’t stopped fans from pledging their undying devotion to this tanorexic troupe.
After RBD’s inital split, ardent fans took to the streets in protest! But as it has since been leaked that the band broke up over their money grubbing issues, the worldwide protest did little to urge them back together.
Nevertheless, the hard core RBD lovers out there aren’t giving up just yet. They’re planning a second worldwide protest on October 4th to urge these pop icons back together. Sorry, kids. I hate to break it to you. The only way to get these “singers” reunited is if there’s a cash bonus involved.

Following the recent split of the pop super group RBD, thousands of obsessed and depressed fans spilled into the streets this past weekend for a worldwide protest to the group’s end.
Just how crazy did it get? One fan at the Los Angeles march was quoted as saying:
“RBD is my life. I live and breathe RBD because they inspire me to be who I am.”
And…
“No, please don’t break up! Keep on going! You are our drug, our everything.”
No word from RBD if the adamant pleas from fans will tempt them to stay together, but for the sake of our ears and eyes, here’s hoping that the “singers” have taken they stand by their word.

Its time to say adios to RBD! The pop culture phenomenon that took the world by storm with their annoyingly catchy songs and meticulously color-coordinated outfits officially announced their break up Friday via their website, also posting this final good-bye to their fans:
Hemos realizado juntos un sueño que jamás imaginamos podríamos lograr, cantamos, lloramos y reímos con nuestras canciones a lo largo del mundo y ante millones de personas. Hemos dejado una huella imborrable en las vidas de millones de personas…¡Nuestros queridos fans! Ustedes han marcado nuestra vida de una manera inigualable; los llevaremos en nuestro corazón por siempre.
But the tanorexic sextet isn’t gone just yet! The group is planning on launching a farewell tour in the coming months. No word yet on any solo careers, but odds are, we haven’t seen the last of these rebeldes.
Thanks for the music, the memories, and the media overload!

Dulce Maria rejected that big role in a telenovela which would have set her apart from Anahi and company.
“Hubo una propuesta muy importante hace algunos días, pero no pude aceptar por incompatibilidad de agenda. Tenían planeado comenzar a grabar en las próximas semanas, pero en RBD tenemos compromiso de giras en agosto y septiembre. No pude aceptar por ese motivo”, comentó Dulce.
Dulce Maria is planning to star in an Argentinian film Una Vez Mas directed by the Peruvian Ricardo de Montreuil. Sigh, it looks like we shall see them for awhile to come…

And in continuing the much beloved tradition of milking an anemic cash cow, Dulce Maria is now set to be the star of a new telenovela. Let’s see if she still has enough RBD lovin’ to go round.

The hosts of a New York radio program La Kalle say they will apologize to RBD’s Christian Chávez but only if he stops by the program again. Christian is not biting.
“If he decides to come on the program and say he’s sorry, I have no problem with apologizing to him, giving him a hug and starting over with the interview,” Enrique Santos, host of El show de Enrique y Joe (La Kalle), told Notimex news agency.
But reports inform that the 24-year-old singer – who wasn’t happy when Santos said on air that Chávez would award the first caller with “a baggie of marijuana” – rejected the offer. “I’m not going to go back on a program like that. It’s one thing to make a joke, and it’s another to do something painful,” he expressed.
Of course he’s not going back. He’s no pendejo! God, can you imagine him on Howard Stern. That man would tear him a new one!

It has just surfaced that Christian Chavez of Rebelde was arrested for buying a marijuana cigarette on May 15. If cocaine possession is no longer shocking, is possession of marijuana even considered illegal?

Christian Chavez raises his shirt during RBD’s visit to the Christina Show to show off his LOVE tattoo. What he doesn’t realize is that we really don’t care what his tattoo says. He needs to put his shirt down ASAP and get some sun bad.
